Troy Snow Parking Restrictions
Weather

TROY HAS NOT DELCARED A SNOW EMERGENCY, BUT:

Our public works and public utilities crews are working around the clock to clear the streets and make it easier for people to navigate around the City, so we ask for your patience and cooperation while the work continues.

On Friday morning, from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., crews will be focusing on snow push back in the Central Business District, which includes Ferry Street to Federal Street and Front Street to 7th Avenue. Residents and visitors are asked to move their vehicles to off street parking to help aid in the curb to curb plowing. Residents are also asked to pay attention and abide by the street signage.

The City of Troy crews are operating 50 vehicles equipped with plows and salters, and that work will continue in shifts throughout the storm

In order to help battle the low temperatures, crews are mixing sand with the rock salt in order to give drivers more traction on the roads.

While the storm continues, residents are encouraged to help their neighbors and take care of one another.
