Troy restaurant owner pleads guilty to tax fraud | News
TROY - A restaurant owner and former Rensselaer County Jail guard will head to prison after pleading guilty to tax fraud.
Mark Piche has pleaded guilty to filing false tax returns.
He also underreported wages paid and urged employees to lie to IRS investigators.
Piche owned the Red Front Restaurant in Troy.
He faces up to three years in prison when sentenced in January.
