On Friday, Habitat for Humanity Capital District celebrated its partnership with Rensselaer County Habitat for Humanity by introducing a new, nine-house development in South Troy.
The development includes two two-bedroom attached homes, five three-bedroom attached homes, and two detached four-bedroom homes.
“This is a wonderful project and helps continue the resurgence of one of Troy’s most historic neighborhoods,” Troy Mayor Lou Rosamilia said. “Habitat for Humanity’s tireless work and commitment to providing quality homes is one of the driving forces behind this project. I’m thrilled about the potential here and making that first step in moving this effort forward. The combination of new residential and commercial space will be wonderful for the City of Troy.”
