Testimony continues in Chaplin murder trial | News

Testimony continues in the Troy murder trial of Scott Chaplin, who is accused in the bludgeoning death of a woman 18 years ago.

This morning the lead police investigator on the case was cross examined about evidence in the case.

Prosecutors say Chaplin took part in a burglary at the group home where Rosemary Crosier worked, which led to her death.

The defense says Chaplin was having an affair with Crosier and did not kill her.

This afternoon, NewsChannel 13 reporter John McLoughlin is scheduled to testify about an interview he conducted with Chaplin after the crime.
