Arrest made in last week's shooting in Troy | News

Troy Police have made an arrest in connection with a string of recent shootings in the city.

They say 22 year old Shateek Lanier is responsible for shooting a seventeen year old man last Tuesday night near Tenth Street.

Lanier is charged with first degree gang assault and criminal use of a firearm.

Police say his arrest is tied to the recent spate of gun violence in troy and that more arrests will be made.
