Mayor announces summer events schedule

Mayor Harry Tutunjian has announced the City’s slate of summer events including: the River Street Arts Festival; the weekly Wednesday Rockin’ on the River Concert Series; the weekly Saturday Powers Park Concert Series; and the Troy Pig Out.

“Upon taking office seven and a half years ago, we saw a lot of challenges and as many opportunities.  One way to improve the quality of life in Troy was to offer free, high quality, family friendly events.  All of the events announced today were started by the City under my administration and most are sustainable events now, thanks to the hard work of the BID.  I’m proud to say people look forward to our summer events” said Tutunjian in a statement.

Tutunjian noted that the Powers Park Concert Series is the only event announced this morning not operated by the BID.
