Troy police investigate two shootings | Crime

TROY - Police in Troy are investigating two shootings Friday evening.

The first happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday morning at 606 Fourth Street. Police say one man was shot in the hand. 

The other shooting happened just after 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon on Sausse Avenue. Police were called after a report of several gunshots fired in the area.

“Our investigation reveals that two subjects, one armed with a gun, entered the residence, at that point, the weapon discharged,” said Capt. John Cooney of the Troy Police Department.

Police say one man was shot multiple times. He is expected to be ok.

Police are now interviewing witnesses and the victim in hopes of making an arrest.
