TROY - Mayor Lou Rosamilia has annouced the dates of all the exciting events that will take place this summe rin the Collar City.

Every Wednesday, begining on June 20, Rockin' on the River will once again take place along the riverfront in the Green Island Bridge parking lot.

July 11 - Bridges- An Eagles Tribute

July 18 - Bad Medicine - A Bon Jovi Tribute

July 25 - Dave Matthews Band Tribute

August 1 - Who's Bad - The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute

August 8 - Skeeter Crank

August 15 - Blues for Breakfast - A Grateful Dead Tribute

August 22 - Changes in Latitudes - A Jimmy Buffet Tribute

August 29 - Blue Hand Luke

On Saturday, June 16, the River Street Festival will once again bring together over 100 artisan craft vendors from across the North East.

There will be activites for kids, food, magicians, and three stages of music.

The festival will take place on River from Fulton to Congress Street. The fun lasts from 10-5p.

On eight Saturdays, in July and August, the Powers Park Concert Series will be held from 6-8:30p.

There will be great performances of many types of music.

The festival is free and food will be available.
